Second Harvest Food Bank of ECI Welcomes Robby Tompkins to the Team

Robby Tompkins lives in downtown Muncie and is a graduate of Taylor University, where he studied non-profit administration and communications. He is a Certified Fund Raising Manager (CFRM) through the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and has been a
director in non-profit leadership roles for the past fifteen years.


Tompkins previous professional experience includes being the Director of Development at LifeStream Services where he raised funds in twelve East Central Indiana counties. Prior to that role, Robby was the Director of Education and then the Executive Director at Cornerstone Center for the Arts. He also formed a non-profit consulting firm that has assisted several
organizations with grant writing, fundraising, program management, and strategic planning.


Tompkins volunteers at numerous community events with Muncie Downtown Development Partnership and is a past volunteer and Board Member of Muncie Civic Theatre. Robby is also a past founding Board Member of the Muncie Arts and Culture Council.


Some of his community recognition include being a Ball Brothers Foundation Fellow, a recipient of the M Magazine 20 Under 40 Professionals Award, and a graduate of the Shafer Leadership Academy.
