We have six paid internship positions open for 2023. Put your values into action to make a difference where the need is greatest.
A $2000 stipend will be provided for 250 hours of work. These positions are intentionally flexible to accommodate schedules and make the most of your skills and learning goals. We will work with you to develop specific projects that you will complete in this time. Available Positions include:
Marketing Intern
Marketing Intern – Journalism Focus
Marketing Intern – Social Media Focus
Videography Intern
Interns will work from the office or at home, depending on role. Reliable transportation is important to the completion of this internship.

WORK STUDIES
Forward STEPS Work Study Positions Available!
Second Harvest also participates in the federal work-study program. Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study and provides part-time employment while you are enrolled in school.
The work-study program is available to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with financial need who are enrolled full-or part-time and is administered by schools participating in the Federal Work-Study Program.

INTERNSHIPS
Interested in interning for Second Harvest Food Bank? Each year, Second Harvest welcomes several students to our office and warehouse to participate in meaningful real-world training in the food bank industry. We offer opportunities for post-secondary students studying a wide variety of disciplines.
Our internships are great for those studying public relations, marketing, non-profit management and logistics & supply chain management.
