PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union and Second Harvest Food Bank invite you to this year’s Soup Crawl! Taking place during ArtsWalk in Downtown Muncie on Thursday, October 1, Soup Crawl celebrates local restaurants by showcasing their soups at stations throughout the event.
Participants are primarily local restaurants, caterers, and local nonprofits, all serving up their best soups in competition for the People’s Choice award during the evening of the event.
Since its inception in 2011, Soup Crawl has benefited Second Harvest Food Bank and has made more than 467,000 meals possible for our neighbors in need. This year’s proceeds will support Second Harvest Food Bank’s The Big Idea, which partners with schools, their teachers, and principals to work with families to stop the cycle of generational poverty by providing tools to support child development as a foundation for lifelong sustainability.
“Reflecting on the years of warmth and community Soup Crawl has provided, we couldn’t be more excited to usher in this next chapter. With our favorite local restaurants already dreaming up their most creative recipes yet, we’re ready to make this the most delicious year on record.”
