The Bridges Out of Poverty Community model assists employers, organizations, and individuals in reducing poverty by bringing together people from all sectors and economic classes. The movement aims to support individuals in their journey from poverty to self-sufficiency, reduce social costs, strengthen education and job skills, enhance economic development, and build sustainable communities.

Our goals for this kick-off meeting are
- Build Cross-Sector Collaboration by getting key stakeholders together.
- Introduce the Bridges Out of Poverty Model so we all understand what is needed.
- Identify Community Strengths and Gaps to map out existing community assets.
- Share about Getting Ahead to illustrate how the individual-focused program works.
- Establish Next Steps and Accountability to make concrete goals that ensure continued collaboration.
Committing to these constructs can lead to significant positive impacts, and we would like to use this opportunity to explore becoming a Bridges out of Poverty Community.
