Tailgate Food Distribution Events Announced for Monday, April 13 – Saturday, April 18

Editorial Note: Changed from Public to Private on 6/30/23. The original intent of the post was to announce expanded mobile distribution schedules, but now that we’re well past that, I don’t want anyone getting confused if they stumble across it because The Algorithm fumbled.

MUNCIE, IN – Second Harvest Food Bank announces the following regularly scheduled and EXTRA Tailgate Food Distribution events:
 
• JAY COUNTY: Wednesday, April 15, 11:00am- 1:00pm
LOCATION: Jay County Fairgrounds – 806E. Votaw St., Portland
 
• MADISON COUNTY: EXTRA! Thursday, April 16, 10:00am – 12:00n
LOCATION: Old Kmart Parking Lot – 2811 E. Nichol Ave, Anderson
 
• HENRY COUNTY: Friday, April 17, 9:00am – 11:00am
LOCATION: First Baptist Church – 709 S. Memorial Dr., New Castle
 
• RANDOLPH COUNTY: Friday, April 17, 1:00pm – 3:00pm
LOCATION: Goodrich Park – 701 N. Union St., Winchester
 
• DELAWARE COUNTY: EXTRA! Saturday, April 18, 10:00am – 12:00noon
LOCATION: Muncie Mall – 3501 N. Granville Ave., Muncie
 
No IDs or Proof of Address required. All are welcome.
 
Distribution is while supplies last. We are requesting that attendees only go through the line one time so we can serve everyone.
 
If you are walking up or coming via a vehicle too small to carry a load of food, please plan to arrive an hour after the tailgate starts.
